2. Purpose
These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the website and services offered by Rent a Phone, including the use of the equipment rental platform. By accessing the website and/or using our rental services, you accept and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
3. Use of the Website
3.1. The user undertakes to use the website and services responsibly and in accordance with applicable legislation.
3.2. It is prohibited to use the website for illegal or fraudulent purposes or in any way that could harm the integrity of the platform.
4. Rental Services
4.1. Description of Services: The website allows users to rent technological equipment for a defined period of time.
4.2. Rental Process:
– Users must select the desired equipment and/or data plan and follow the reservation process.
– The reservation is confirmed after validation of payment of the reservation amount + deposit.
4.3. Availability: Delivery of equipment is subject to availability.
4.4. Data Plan: The mobile data contracted is exclusively for use within the national territory. Additional costs arising from use outside Portugal will be charged to the customer.
5. Prices and Payments
5.1. Prices: VAT at the legal rate in force in Portugal is added to the prices shown on the website. The deposit amount, being a security deposit to be returned at the end of the rental, is not subject to VAT.
5.2. Payment terms: Payment must be made at the time of booking, using the methods available on the website.
5.3. Price changes: We reserve the right to change prices at any time, with the prices in force at the time of booking being applicable.
5.4. Accepted payment methods: We accept payments via this website using credit/debit cards, MB Way, Multibanco references and bank transfers.
6. Delivery Terms
6.1. Shipping Costs: Shipping costs will be calculated based on the delivery address and will be displayed during the booking process.
6.2. Delivery Times: Delivery times vary between 1 and 3 working days, and shipments are calculated to arrive before your event or application for which you have rented the equipment. For urgent deliveries, please contact us directly or select urgent collection.
6.3. Customer Responsibilities: It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that someone is present at the address to receive the equipment.
7. Cancellation and Refund Policy
7.1. The customer may cancel the booking up to 3 days before the rental start date to obtain a full refund.
7.2. Cancellations made after this deadline will not be eligible for a refund.
7.3. Refunds are processed within a maximum of 7 working days after the cancellation has been validated.
8. Exchange and Return Policy
8.1. Exchanges and Returns: Please refer to our Exchange and Return Policy available on the website for details on deadlines, conditions, and associated costs.
8.2. General Conditions: Equipment returned late or damaged may incur additional costs, as described in the Terms and Conditions.
9. User Responsibility
9.1. The user is responsible for the proper use of the rented equipment and for complying with applicable laws.
9.2. Any damage, loss, or misuse will be charged to the customer, who will be billed for the cost of repairing or replacing the equipment.

– Name, email, telephone number, delivery address, tax number, rental details and payment details.
10.3. Purpose of Processing:
– To process bookings and provide contracted services.
